Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain microservices using Java & Spring Boot.
Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
Break down complex tasks into manageable components and deliver high-quality solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and testable code with various tests.
Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to ensure smooth CI/CD workflows.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Own end-to-end development and testing of features.
Identify and document test plans and use cases.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in code, production issues and system behaviour.

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline
Over 5 years of hands-on experience in Java-based software development for enterprise-grade, customer-facing applications
Strong proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms
Deep expertise in building Microservices using advanced Java concepts and Spring Boot
Solid understanding of Software Design Principles and Design Patterns
Skilled in build and dependency management tools such as Maven or Gradle
Proficient in Git operations, including rebasing and conflict resolution
Experience working with relational databases
Good grasp of System Design fundamentals
Practical knowledge of messaging systems like Google Pub/Sub, Kafka, or RabbitMQ
Familiar with monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or Prometheus
Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and Harness.
Clear and effective communication skills.

Secondary Skills (Nice to Have):

Understanding of Webhooks and their integration
Familiarity with REST endpoints across various Source Control Management (SCM) systems such as GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps.
Hands-on experience with Google Pub/Sub

Basic proficiency in Bash scripting
