AMP is hiring a Robotics Software Intern in-person in Louisville, CO reporting to the Senior Robot Software Engineer.

As our Robotics Software Intern, you will:

Develop software that runs on our waste-sortation robots to improve their performance
Develop testing approaches to validate improvements
Iterate on solutions in our robotics lab
Present your designs, features, and results to the engineering team

The successful candidate will be:

Required:

Programming knowledge in a memory managed language like C++ or Rust
Passion for making the world a better place to live
Ability to commute to work at our Louisville office

Preferred:

Experience working with hardware/software systems in a project capacity
Intuition for mechanical systems

Education:

Currently pursuing a graduate OR undergraduate degree in a robotics related field

Experience:

None required outside of education
