About the Team
Watchers is a core platform team that develops monitoring tools, such as reports, dashboards, and event streams, that help our customers sleep well at night. Our infrastructure processes billions of data points, tackling significant performance and system-level challenges in collaboration with most of our modern Cloud product teams. If you are an admin responsible for backups, you probably want to know if your backups are running as configured and to be notified if something breaks. That’s where our products come in. Without us, Rubrik would be a black box.
About the Role
As a software engineer on the Watchers-Events team, you’ll be responsible for the architecture and development of the Event notifications and monitoring framework. This large-scale, distributed, and event-driven system collects, processes, and analyzes data from thousands of Rubrik clusters to send out timely and informative notifications in real-time when specific events or anomalies are detected within the Rubrik environment. You’ll work cross-functionally to understand the operational requirements of new features and build monitoring capabilities that address the needs of our most sophisticated customers. This team at Rubrik plays a vital role in providing the transparency and proactive alerting that customers need to have confidence in the security and availability of their data.
