Software Engineer (Unity)

Interested in working on developing meta-game features for an upcoming fast-paced, team-based PvP game? As an engineer at Demiurge Studios you will work on a small collaboration-oriented team where you will have the opportunity to contribute in meaningful ways.   • Work closely with artists and designers to understand and define meta-game features and system requirements
  • Implement, test, debug and maintain source code
  • Review the work of other engineers and provide constructive feedback in a highly collaborative environment
  • Provide ongoing support to artists and designers
  • Deliver high quality, functional systems on time and to specification
  • Make educated trade-offs among scope, quality and pace
  • Must-Have Qualifications
  • 3+ years professional software development experience
  • Experience developing with the Unity Game Engine
  • Professional software development experience in C#
  • Deep knowledge of algorithms and data structures
  • BS or higher in Computer Science or similar discipline (Physics, Math, EE, etc.), or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Preference to Applicants with
  • Professional game development
  • Experience developing with Unity DOTS
  • Experience developing with NoesisGUI
  • Experience developing products for modern game console platforms (PS5, XSX|S)
  • Experience developing games using agile methodologies
