[solidcore] is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to help build and scale our digital fitness platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain the mobile and web applications that power the [solidcore] member experience. This role will play a key part in shaping scalable backend services, leveraging modern cloud infrastructure, and exploring how AI-driven tools and automation can enhance both internal operations and the end-user journey. Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain [solidcore]'s fitness platform using modern technologies including Node.js, React Native/Expo, Next.js, and AWS services

Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and other cloud infrastructure

Develop and enhance mobile and web applications that power the [solidcore] member experience

Leverage AI-powered development tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development and improve code quality

Build and maintain AI agents and automation systems that enhance both internal operations and member experiences

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship features that directly impact thousands of fitness enthusiasts daily

Optimize application performance and resolve production issues, including monitoring with Sentry and responding to incidents

Implement and maintain integrations with third-party platforms like Mind Body Online and Contentful CMS

Participate in code reviews via GitHub and contribute to maintaining high code quality standards

Work with blue-green deployment strategies and modern CI/CD practices to ensure reliable releases

Stay current with emerging AI technologies and evaluate their potential application to our platform and workflows

Qualifications:

3-5 years of professional software development experience

Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js

Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, React Native, or similar)

Solid understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFormation)

Experience with RESTful API design and implementation

Demonstrated experience using AI coding assistants and tools to enhance productivity

Curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring how AI can solve real-world problems

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience with React Native/Expo for mobile development

Familiarity with Next.js and modern web development practices

Experience with DynamoDB or other NoSQL databases

Knowledge of monitoring tools like Sentry

Experience building or working with AI agents, LLM integrations, or automation systems

Familiarity with prompt engineering and working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)

Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

Familiarity with infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, CDK)

Experience in the fitness or wellness industry
