Requirements

  • MSCS/BSCS and 3+ years of experience developing software in a Linux/Unix environment.
  • Prior experience must include the entire Software Development Life Cycle
  • Using C/C++ or Java in a Linux/Unix environment
  • Using Python or Perl in a Linux/Unix environment
  • Assessing product quality
  • Developing software methodology, standards, debugging design and execution
  • Independently initiating new software design concepts and creative approaches for software design and providing practical solutions to software design.
  • Must possess good organizational skills and ability to work closely with other team members.
  • Must be professional, attention to detail, self-starter, energetic, good problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize work and juggle multiple tasks.

Required Skills

  • Expert knowledge of Linux
  • Python programming and Shell scripting expertise
  • Experience with C/C++ development.
  • Experience with SQL Database and Mongo Database, including performance tuning
  • Experience developing and supporting multithreaded application in a Linux/Unix environment.

Bonus Skills

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols
  • Understanding of multi OS internals – Windows, Linux, MacOS.
  • Experience working on Agile software development projects
