Software Engineer- ROR Developer

Devsinc is seeking a talented Ruby on Rails Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality web applications to support our clients' needs. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Ruby on Rails and enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Design and implement robust APIs and integrate with front-end technologies.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to Ruby on Rails.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in developing web applications with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture, PostgreSQL and RESTful design principles.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Familiarity with database systems, including PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong debugging skills and familiarity with software testing methodologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD is a plus.
