Software Engineer - Robot Link Platform

Foster City, California, U.S.
full-time Hybrid

TLDR

Join a critical team developing cloud backend services for driverless robotaxi operations, bridging robot software with cloud tools and ensuring reliable and mission-critical communications.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and deploy scalable backend services that are reliable and fault tolerant

  • Write clear, testable, modular and maintainable code. Triage and troubleshoot issues spanning various cloud services, robot, transport protocols.

  • Define and implement key metrics to measure/monitor performance and reliability

  • Contribute to long term architecture, technology initiatives and technical roadmap

  • Work cross functionally with diverse engineering teams, Product and Program Management for successful delivery of solutions

    • Qualifications

  • BS / MS in Computer Science or similar degree and/or 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages like Typescript, Go, Java, Javascript

  • Strong knowledge of REST, API design patterns, database technologies, caching mechanisms, performance optimizing techniques

  • Familiarity with webserver technologies like Node.js, Nginx, Apache etc.

  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
