Your Role

As a software engineer you will perform a wide range of engineering tasks including develop new products, creating POCs, and improving the software lifecycle. Your role will include:

Design and documentation: perform detailed technical design for new products/features and documentation of architecture and code.
SDLC: be an active part of the development lifecycle. Collaborate with team members, perform code reviews, and improve CI/CD process.
Develop POCs: research new technologies and build out proof-of-concepts from the ground up then report findings to the VP of Engineering.
Data Infrastructure: work on the data analytics infrastructure and assist the data science team with managing modeling pipelines and productionizing code.
Security, Quality, and Maintainability: ability to look at current codebase and understand measures beyond the functional requirements that produce a highly polished product.

Must Have Skills

3+ years of experience in software engineering/development
Experience with building and deploying SDKs as a service and/or on the edge
Experience with machine learning and related tooling
Experience with python including scientific packages including NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow
Experience with at least one statically typed and one dynamically typed language

Nice-to-have-skills:

Knowledge of building AWS infrastructure including EC2, EKS, S3 and RDS
Familiarity with Docker and containerization
Experience with sensor data, preferably eye-tracking
Experience with time-series data
Experience with Unity and other game engines
