Software Engineer

MicroStrategy, Inc. dba Strategy seeks Software Engineer in Tysons Corner, VA:

Job Duties: Develop Algorithms and Deploy containerized MicroStrategy products to cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP, using Java, Python, NodeJs and Go. Manage containerized deployments across multiple cloud environments, integrating technologies such as Istio for service mesh management and PostgreSQL for persistent data storage. Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Kubernetes environments. Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques to optimize search functionalities and metadata management across platforms, leading to increased relevance and efficiency in data retrieval and analysis. Develop AI-driven features using OpenAI's models to enhance data analytics capabilities, improve user experience, and create innovative solutions tailored to business needs. Design RestfulAPIs and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration and microservices deployments, including multi-tenant architectures, to enable scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions. Implement security best practices for cloud environments and Document infrastructure architecture, designs and operational practices. Document infrastructure architecture, designs, and operational best practices to ensure clarity, consistency, and knowledge sharing across the team. Collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field) or closely related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
