The Message Orchestration team at Omnisend enables merchants to create seamless, scalable, and automated marketing workflows across multiple channels (email, SMS, push notifications). Our solutions streamline and automate sequences of actions triggered by specific events in the merchant's store, enabling timely, personalized communication with customers without manual intervention.
We are looking for a mid-level Software Engineer focused on backend development. Proactive, product-minded individuals who are enthusiastic about crafting impactful software products will thrive at Omnisend. What you’ll do @Omnisend:
Contribute significantly to product development decisions
Design, develop, and test features
Resolve technical challenges for seamless system functionality and optimal performance
Maintain features with effective monitoring, logging, and alerting
Share best practices with team members
We expect that you’ll bring:
Hands-on experience (3+ years)
Customer centricity
Ideally, experience with Golang or alternatively proficiency in any backend programming language, with the willingness to learn Golang
Familiarity with modern software build pipelines and tools
Proficiency in any database
Experience with real-time distributed messaging tools, like NSQ, Pub/Sub
Working experience with any cloud provider (at Omnisend, we use Google Cloud Services)
