We are looking for a true Full-stack Developer who is proficient with developing in Python, and can contribute to all parts of our software stack. We are using various cloud providers, including Google Cloud. We expect you to contribute to discussions regarding architecture and strategy, and make technical decisions.
The perfect candidate for this role will be able to contribute to our Python back-end, database design, JavaScript front-end, and will be able to resolve issues and document and implement changes requested by our customers and product team. We expect an agile and DevOps-oriented mindset. Besides working on bugs and features, you will contribute to automating tests and deployments, our internal continuous integration libraries and Google Cloud services.
You will also be responsible for updates of our cloud infrastructure, backups, and disaster recovery protocols. You will be facilitating maximum productivity of the development team through automation (e.g., launch a test platform with a single click) and support our DevOps environment.

Your responsibilities:
- New feature development for multiple QMENTA products
- Help fix bugs in both front-end and back-end, both in our new and legacy platforms
- Recommend the best technologies to use for our use cases
- Take ownerships of APIs that are used by internal and external developers
- Implement customizations in the front end for customers, using our existing back-end APIs
- Write unit tests and integration tests for the code that you develop or modify
- Write end-to-end test for the front-end, based on user requirements
- Continually improve our DevOps tools, processes, and procedures
- Be the go-to person for one or more of the technologies that we use
Required skills and experience:
- MSc or BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Object-oriented programming language skills, including Python
- Database design and management
- Experience with JavaScript, and comfortable contributing to our front-end
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems (for example, Ubuntu)
- Experience with container systems such as Docker and Kubernetes
Desired Qualifications (optional)
- Experience with automation/monitoring tools (for example, Google Cloud Build, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Grafana)
- Experience with developing or using REST APIs
- Administration of public clouds such as Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services
- Experience with some of the newer technologies that we use, such as Temporal.io, EdgeDB and SvelteKit
- Security certifications, for example OSCP
- Experience working with medical software, for example for Clinical Trials management, medical image processing or Electronic Data Capture (EDC).
