Software Engineer

TLDR

Develop and support digital products that serve campuses, ministries, and attenders, utilizing key technologies like C# and .NET alongside React and Node.js.

At Life.Church, our Digital Product team builds technology that helps people take their next step in their faith journey. As a Software Engineer on this team, you’ll develop and support digital products that serve our campuses, ministries, and attenders—ranging from internal tools to platforms used every week across Life.Church. The Digital Product team equips and empowers our campus and ministry teams through tools like Rock RMS, the Church Online Platform, and the Life.Church app and website.   • Contribute to building and maintaining software.
  • Take tasks from idea to implementation with support from your team.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
  • Build and run tests to ensure features are reliable and user-friendly.
  • Debug issues and help keep systems running smoothly.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver meaningful features.

  • Technical Experience

    You don’t need experience in everything below. We’re looking for strength in one area and a willingness to learn.

    Backend / API Development

    • Experience with C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core preferred)
    • Basic understanding of APIs and scalable systems
    • Web Development

      • Experience with React, Node.js, or similar frameworks
      • Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript
    What You Bring
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor’s degree, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of related work experience.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to real-world systems
  • Motivation to build software that has meaningful impact
