What will you do?
MessageMedia is a platform that handles millions of customer interactions daily. The Messaging team builds scalable and high-performance systems that send millions of messages, focusing on reliability and performance while ensuring smooth and efficient communication with customers.
As a member of the Messaging team, you’ll work on maintaining and improving our legacy systems, ensuring they continue to scale and perform efficiently. We are Cloud-deployed across multiple regions and make extensive use of containerized Java applications. Our approach emphasizes modular, simple, and clear software with a focus on external open-source libraries and tools to achieve our goals efficiently.
You will join a strong, senior-focused team of 8 engineers, reporting to the Engineering Manager.
· Develop high performing solutions that scale in production environments
· Design solution options
· Review pulls requests and provide constructive feedback
· Work in scrum teams and contribute to breaking down cards in grooming
· Develop quality code that has high levels of test coverage
· Provide mentorship for intermediate and junior team member
· Good synchronous and asynchronous communication skills
· Participate in architectural decisions
