Software Engineer Intern (Summer 2026)

About Us: Artera is an AI startup that develops medical artificial intelligence tests to personalize therapy for cancer patients. Artera is on a mission to personalize medical decisions for patients and physicians on a global scale. We are seeking Software Engineer Interns to join our engineering team. As a Software Engineer at Artera, you’ll drive the development of the systems behind Artera's products, create web/mobile applications, and build highly reliable and secure infrastructure.  This internship has a minimum twelve (12) week duration. Essential Responsibilities:
  • Develop tests for a React web application using Vitest and Playwright

  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently with few iterations

  • Identify problem statements, outline optimal solutions, account for tradeoffs and edge cases

  • Communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders

  • Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program and in the process of obtaining a Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or a related field.

  • Experience developing web applications with React, Javascript, and Typescript.

  • Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment Preferred Qualification.

  • Demonstrated software engineering experience from a previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications.

  • Intent to return to a degree-program after the completion of the internship/co-op.
