Software engineer intern - (m/f/d)

The Zephir team is part of Deezer's Music Industry Relation department — at the heart of how Deezer fairly compensates its right holders.

Our team is building and maintaining Deezer's in-house royalties platform. We handle the entire royalties data lifecycle: calculating royalties based on content performances, and producing and delivering reporting to Deezer's recording and publishing partners.

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will contribute to the design and development of scalable features for the Zephir platform — web-portal daily used by operational teams to set royalties reporting configuration and trigger reporting.

What you will do:

• Modernize our platform by migrating critical parts from Django template language to React, improving reliability and overall user experience

• Strengthen observability by identifying gaps and implementing robust monitoring solutions

• Drive continuous improvement by proposing and delivering performance optimizations and feature enhancements, in close collaboration with the team

• Be a full team member by actively participating in sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives

This role is excellent for a person with:

• Back-end proficiency with Python - A first experience with Django is a great plus

• Front-end proficiency in JavaScript — experience with React is a plus

• proactive approach - either on priorities or on raising alerts

• Collaborative mindset — a team player who enjoys sharing ideas and iterating with others

• Professional English — comfortable working and communicating in an international environment
