About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Software Engineer Intern to join our engineering team. This is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates who are looking to gain hands-on experience while working on an internal tool that collects and represents delivery metrics from Jira and other company tools.

In this role, you will be involved in both backend and frontend development, working with real internal systems and data used by cross-functional teams. You will gain practical exposure to real-world engineering workflows while learning and growing in a supportive team environment.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain internal tools using Node.js and Vue.js
• Integrate with Jira APIs to collect, process, and manage KPI/statistics data
• Build and improve user interfaces to display reports and metrics clearly
• Support basic API development, data handling, and validation
• Assist with testing, debugging, and incremental feature improvements
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Communicate progress, challenges, and ideas clearly with the team in English

What We Need

• Currently a 3rd or 4th-year student in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or a recent graduate
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and familiarity with Node.js and Vue.js
• Basic understanding of REST APIs is a plus
• Good English written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with logical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Comfortable working during the second half of the day (Vietnam time) to overlap with CET timezone
• Must be based in Vietnam
