Technical Skills

  • Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in .NET development, building web applications and backend services using .NET Framework / .NET Core.
  • Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful APIs, with experience building scalable backend services and integrations.
  • Hands-on work with SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL), including data modelling, complex queries, performance optimization, and stored procedures.
  • Experience with front-end development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and at least one modern framework (React, Angular, or Vue).
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure or AWS) for deployment, monitoring, and application lifecycle management.
  • Curiosity and interest in system architecture, application design, and maintainable full-stack solutions.
  • A strong motivation to improve software robustness, refactor existing solutions, reduce technical debt, and modernize the current landscape.

Scrum Master & Agile Leadership Skills

  • Demonstrated experience acting as a Scrum Master, ideally 2 or more years in an agile environment; Scrum Master certification is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to facilitate technical discussions, remove blockers, and support team cohesion and productivity.
  • Skilled at coaching team members in agile ways of working and fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and delivery focus.
  • Experience using agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.

Interpersonal & Cultural Fit

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, guiding discussions, mediating conflicts, and supporting team development.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with both local and distributed teams.
  • A deep appreciation for IKEA’s values—humility, simplicity, togetherness, and continuous improvement—and a mindset that reflects these principles.
