Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues escalated from L2/Support teams with clear root cause analysis.
Perform production issue triage, debugging, and resolution with minimal turnaround time.
Analyze and fix performance, scalability, and reliability issues in production environments.
Identify root causes using logs, metrics, traces, and monitoring tools.
Develop, test, and deliver code fixes, patches, or configuration changes for production issues.
Work closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and Support teams to ensure smooth issue resolution and releases.
Create and maintain technical documentation, RCA reports, and post-incident reviews.
Proactively identify system weaknesses and recommend improvements to prevent future incidents.
Support on-call rotations and handle critical production escalations when required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3–4 years of experience in software development or production support (L3 role preferred).
Strong hands-on experience in Java / Scala (or relevant backend language).
Experience debugging production issues in distributed systems.
Solid understanding of performance tuning, memory management, and multithreading.
Experience working with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and observability tools (Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of issues.
