Requirements

What you'll do 

• Work closely with Product and Technology teams to develop high-quality software that enhances customer experience.  

• Design, develop, and maintain clean, well-structured backend services and APIs with regular production deployments.  

• Participate & contribute to low level design decisions 

• Drive continuous improvement in team processes, practices, and product development.  

• Engage in team refinement and planning sessions.  

• Take ownership in a “build it and run it” environment, ensuring deployment, monitoring, and support of owned components.  

• Advocate for modern technical practices like Domain-Driven Design, CI/CD, pair programming, and mob programming.  

• Supporting other engineers and creating a good teamworking environment 

• Foster a positive engineering culture through collaboration, leadership, and best practices. 

What you'll bring to the team 

• Minimum of 2 years proven experience, preferably on eCommerce related product development 

• A passion for learning and adapting to new technologies within our stack.  

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages and frameworks 

• Experience with C# and .NET or Java or NodeJs or Python 

• Experience in the travel industry is a plus but not required.  

• A pragmatic approach to delivering well-designed, secure, and high-performing solutions.  

• A team player who thrives with autonomy and values open, constructive feedback in an inclusive environment.  

• Leveraged AI based developer tools to accelerate your and team’s productivity  

• Curious problem-solver with strong planning, prioritization, and communication skills 

• Experience with modern front-end frameworks is a plus 

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, microservices, event-driven architecture. 

• Hands on Experience with any cloud platform GCP or Azure or AWS 

• Experience with large-scale data handling, performance tuning, and observability (e.g. OpenTelemetry, Grafana, New Relic, etc.).  

• Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).  

• You will collaborate with teams of Software Engineers based out of Bengaluru in a Hybrid model 

• You will partner with other global team and stakeholders to design, develop and to deliver Travel eCommerce Domain capabilities at scale.
