About the Team
The Product Lines Engineering team is dedicated to delivering end-to-end software support across all Dandy’s product lines. This is an experimental tiger team, and we cross system and organizational boundaries to ensure our entire product lifecycle - from ordering, to manufacturing, to support - wows our customers. We support our world-class R&D team in novel-to-industry product launches, as well as ruthlessly tune the efficiency of our existing offerings with a team of product owners.
We are hiring early- and mid-career engineers to help build out this new team. Our engineers have a high level of ownership and autonomy, and a willingness to dive into unfamiliar code bases, debug meatspace processes, or act as a product manager as the need arises.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain core ordering flows used by our end customers every day.
Dig in and learn about the dental restoratives market. You will know more about dentures than you ever imagined!
Work with other engineers and product managers, along with product GMs, process engineers, operations managers, marketers, CAD designers, etc etc to launch innovative new products for our users. We interface with a lot of teams!
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of software engineering experience.
Professional experience in a production TypeScript and React + GraphQL system.
A high level of autonomy and the ability to deal with ambiguity. We work fast, and are always hopping into areas of the codebase we’ve never seen before. You should be comfortable with being uncomfortable.
Ability to work in any layer of the stack (frontend, backend, infra, data, etc) to ship end-to-end product experiences.
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Bonus Points
Experience with our stack: NestJS, TypeORM, Electron.
Ability to occasionally travel with us to our factories in Salt Lake City and Dallas.
