About the Role

As a Software Engineer II, Frontend on our Acquisition & Checkout Team, you will help shape the future of our Service Monetization Platform. You will design and build intuitive and efficient user interfaces, ensuring a seamless acquisition and secure checkout experience for our fans. Working with design, product, quality and data teams, you will solve complex challenges, optimize performance, and enhance user experience, directly contributing to the growth of the Crunchyroll fanbase. 

In the role of Software Engineer II, you will report to the Engineering Manager of the Acquisition & Checkout Team.

We are considering applicants for the locations of Los Angeles, CA or San Francisco, CA.

About You

We get excited about candidates, like you, because 

  • You’re an experienced and passionate Frontend Engineer with experience building intuitive user interfaces (2+ years of relevant experience in the software industry) 
  • You have in-depth knowledge of frontend technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and CSS. 
  • You're experienced with deploying code in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments
  • You're familiar with the development of full stack applications or backend services
  • You know how to refine the checkout experience and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and performance optimizations
  • You excel in an Agile and collaborative environment, where your insights and expertise will help create technical solutions loved by our fans.

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
