Position Overview:  

We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our engineering team and take ownership of meaningful technical challenges. You will design and implement features end-to-end, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior engineers. You will build secure, scalable solutions across our product portfolio while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

As AI becomes increasingly central to our platform, you will play a key role in building AI-enabled features and integration infrastructure. You will work on projects ranging from MCP servers and AI orchestration to new AI-powered capabilities across multiple products. This role requires both strong software engineering fundamentals and growing expertise in AI integration patterns.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement full-stack features using Python, Node.js, and React
  • Build and architect AI integration layers (MCP servers, API wrappers, orchestration services)
  • Design APIs and services that expose application features for AI consumption
  • Implement AI-powered features including RAG systems, vector databases, and LLM integrations
  • Build security, authentication, and authorization layers for AI workflows
  • Create scalable, observable systems with proper logging, metrics, and tracing
  • Work with AWS services, containerization, and infrastructure as code
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmap planning
  • Collaborate across product teams to establish AI integration patterns

Required Qualifications

Tech Stack

Core: Node.js, React, TypeScript, AWS, MSSQL, Docker, Kubernetes

AI & Integration: Python, MCP, AWS Bedrock, LangGraph/Semantic Kernel, Vector Databases

Technical Skills

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • Good to have .NET (C#) backend development exposure
  • Solid experience with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Proven React experience for frontend development
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, API design, and integration patterns
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL , MSSQL)
  • Proficiency with Git, Docker and CI/CD pipelines
  • Good understanding of AWS cloud services
  • Experience with authentication patterns (OAuth 2.0, JWT)
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems

AI & Integration Experience (0-1 year required)

  • 0-1 year hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies or LLM integration
  • Working knowledge of Python for AI/ML workflows
  • Understanding of LLM APIs (AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic) and tool-calling patterns
  • Familiarity with AI integration patterns (MCP, API wrappers, orchestration)
  • Basic understanding of vector databases and RAG concepts
  • Awareness of prompt engineering principles
  • Understanding of AI-specific security concerns (prompt injection, data privacy)

  • Breaks down complex problems into manageable solutions
  • Makes sound technical decisions considering trade-offs
  • Proactively identifies and addresses technical debt
  • Can debug issues across multiple systems and technologies

Nice to Have

  • Experience building MCP servers or similar AI integration infrastructure
  • Hands-on with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel)
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools (AWS Step Functions)
  • Understanding of agentic AI patterns and multi-step reasoning
  • Familiarity with fine-tuning or model optimization
  • Experience with API gateway patterns or Backend-for-Frontend architectures

Note : We are looking for 0-1 year of AI experience - enough to show you've worked with LLMs and understand the basics, with room to grow into deeper AI expertise. You'll work across multiple products building various AI features and integration layers.
