Role Purpose
Deliver and facilitate the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs. As an IC5, you will lead projects, guide architecture, elevate engineering practices, and mentor engineers to ensure efficient, scalable, and maintainable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions with a strong emphasis on performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Ensure solutions are efficient, scalable, and easy to operate.
- Review
- Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold quality standards across performance, reliability, and security.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback that helps engineers deliver solutions efficiently.
- Lead
- Lead medium-to-large projects end-to-end, from discovery and design through delivery.
- Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural guidance to create optimal solutions with minimal iterations.
- Drive the adoption of best practices and new technologies to keep the tribe/team current with modern tools and techniques.
- Contribute to architectural design committee discussions to continuously improve overall system architecture and keep stakeholders informed.
- Support & Share
- Support mid-level and junior engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship to accelerate their growth.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for design, implementation, and operations; contribute knowledge to the wider engineering community.
- Collaborate
- Partner with other tribes/teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide progress updates.
- Deliver robust cross-team solutions with minimal iterations.
- Problem Solve
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues, including in production environments, with urgency and strong root-cause analysis.

Preferred Experience and Skills
- Frontend focus preferred: modern frontend development (e.g., React/TypeScript) and strong UI engineering fundamentals.
- Proven IC5-level impact: leading projects, contributing to architecture, and improving engineering practices.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals (clean, testable code; design patterns; performance; security).
- Experience collaborating across teams and communicating clearly with stakeholders.
- Track record of mentoring and supporting engineers at different levels.
- Comfortable engaging in production support and resolving complex issues with urgency.

Work Pattern
- On-site at Bulgaria Head Office.
- Monday to Friday, hours between 8:00–18:00.
