What can you expect as a Fullstack Software Engineer at 4DMedical?

We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Platform. You’ll join the Software group, and work with our experienced backend and frontend developers to build and enhance the medical image management, processing and visualisation software, which delivers our world-leading lung function analysis software to our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge medical technology products as we expand our reach into different markets across the globe.

The role will include.

·        An opportunity to design and build the next generation of our SaaS platform.

·        An opportunity to work on a varied technology stack, including Python, Typescript, Spring, Docker, and AWS.

·        Opportunity to develop several new micro-services and participate in architecture and design decisions for.

Responsibilities/Duties

·        Develop backend services as well as customer-facing software that will manage the transport, lifecycle and delivery of image analysis and associated reports.

·        Participate in architecture and design of the software

·        Work as part of the Agile Development team

·        While your ability to work independently is important, we more strongly value your ability to share your knowledge with the rest of the team, thereby ensuring an environment in which all team members grow and develop together.

Qualifications & Industry experience requirements:

• Experience using Python, Flask and SQLAlchemy, or equivalent frameworks.
• Curious and willing to learn new technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and associated APIs
• As you will be working alongside frontend developers, some exposure to front-end Javascript is a plus
• Experience working with continuous delivery pipelines and containerised services on Docker and Kubernetes.
