What You Will Do

• Participate in and contribute/lead technical design and discussions with peers and stakeholders to decide the best technical approaches to product problems
• Write and test high-quality product or system development code
• Participate in code reviews and provide valuable feedback to ensure quality and outcomes
• Setup and maintain the cloud infrastructure for your product and tools
• Contribute to new and existing documentation and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on operations and quality

Note that if you currently do not have experience with Solidity and Web3, you will be expected to pick it up and execute it within a production environment quickly.

Requirements

What You Will Bring

• 3 years of experience in a software engineering role, within a product or engineering-led team
• Strong ability to break down business requirements into technical requirements, and communicate technical tradeoffs
• Experience working and/or leading technical scrum teams
• Confident in our Web2 technology stack: NextJS, Tailwind (Shacdn), Typescript, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, NestJS
• Confident in system and architecture design e.g. event-driven architectures, three-tier architecture, pub/sub, MVC, caching and distributed systems.
• Comfortable in a serverless and microservice architecture
• Comfortable with setting up, maintaining and monitoring cloud infrastructure (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerisation (e.g. docker)
• Plus Points:
• Familiar with Solidity and EVM
• Familiar with gaming development tools e.g. unity, aws lumberyard
