As a Front-End Web Developer, you will be responsible for building responsive, user-friendly web interfaces for our financial technology platform. You will translate UI/UX designs into functional code, ensuring optimal performance and seamless experiences across browsers. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
· Collaborate with designers and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
· Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
· Optimise applications for speed and scalability.
· Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
· Contribute to migration projects (e.g., transitioning from Blazor to React) to modernise and optimise our tech stack.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
· 0–2 years of experience in front-end development.
· Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript; familiarity with REST APIs.
· Understanding of version control (Git), JIRA and basic debugging tools.
· Good communication and problem-solving skills.
· Blazor expertise is highly desirable; experience or willingness to learn Blazor will support effective integration of interactive web components and enhance platform functionality.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience or willingness to work on migration projects.
· Exposure to modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
· Understanding of web performance optimisation techniques.
