Software Engineer (Frontend-Focused Full Stack)

We value independent and critical thinking. We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll help design and develop backend systems, implement compelling user experiences, work on system architecture, and build event-driven microservices. You'll also collaborate on API integrations and contribute to products that impact thousands of users. The ideal candidate has 2-3+ years of software development experience and is skilled in PostgreSQL and microservices architecture. This position primarily emphasizes backend development, comprising approximately 70% of the workload, with the remaining 30% dedicated to frontend tasks. Key Responsibilities:

Participate in all phases of agile software development, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment
Build and evolve high-performance frontend applications using Next.js, with a focus on usability and scalability
Contribute to backend services using Node.js and NestJS, supporting RESTful APIs and workflows
Apply OOP principles and modern JavaScript (ES6+) to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Architect systems optimized for speed, scalability, and reliability
Collaborate with design, product, backend, and customer support teams to deliver user-centered features
Research, prototype, and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve our development workflow
Collaborate with a hybrid, globally distributed team across time zones using Slack, GitHub, shared documentation, and Zoom

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

3-5+ years building modern, scalable React-based web applications; experience with Next.js is a plus

Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and RESTful API design

Solid understanding of OOP and modern JavaScript (ES6+)

Experience with TDD and automated testing frameworks

Experience with AWS or cloud-based infrastructure

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with NestJS, WebSockets, or Python coding programming.
