The Position:

As a specialized cybersecurity solution, MetaDefender Kiosk is designed to rigorously manage and fortify the secure flow of data originating from diverse removable media devices, such as USB drives, CDs/DVDs, SD cards, and floppy disks, into an organization's network. Its criticality is amplified in demanding critical infrastructure (OT/ICS) environments, characterized by air-gapped networks and strict regulatory compliance requirements that demand precise control over data movement and media usage.

We are looking for a passionate, hands‑on Frontend Developer to join our R&D and Product Engineering team. In this role, you will help shape and advance OPSWAT’s industry‑leading MetaDefender Kiosk product, contributing to cutting‑edge feature development and delivering high‑quality, secure, and intuitive user experiences. What You Will Be Doing:

Design and Development: you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and thoroughly testing the OPSWAT MetaDefender Kiosk product using GUI development frameworks.
Innovative Solutions: engage in research and rapid prototyping to validate innovative solutions, ensuring our product remains at the forefront of the industry.
Ownership and Collaboration: take ownership of major product features from conception to end-to-end delivery. Collaborate closely with Product Management to understand and meet product requirements effectively.
Code Quality: Participate actively in peer code reviews, contributing to maintaining high code quality standards within the team.

What We Need From You:

Strong JavaScript expertise: deep knowledge and solid experience with JavaScript.
Solid experience with modern frontend frameworks, especially Angular or ReactJs.
Experience using TypeScript in production environments.
Knowledge of Electron framework.
Object‑oriented programming: experience OOP design and programming skills.
API design: Experience in designing, implementing, and integrating RESTful APIs.
Database skills: knowledge of DBMS systems such as SQLite, PostgreSQL, or similar.
Debugging and code quality: strong debugging skills and a commitment to clean, maintainable, extendable, and well‑tested code.
Work organization skills: strong ability to prioritize, plan, and manage your own workload effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Critical thinking: strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to break down complex problems and propose pragmatic solutions.
A meticulous, quality‑obsessed mindset, with very high standards for the final output.
