Software Engineer Backend & Cloud (m/f/d)

To further expand our Tech Unit within Platform Operations, we are looking for a 

Software Engineer Backend & Cloud (m/f/d) 

(Hybrid in Cologne or remote within Germany / Full-time / Permanent contract) 

Your Responsibilities 

• Responsible for developing and operating scalable backend solutions using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS   

• Design and develop APIs, integrations, and event-driven services within a modern cloud-native architecture   

• Analyze data flows, APIs, and system dependencies to improve automation, stability, and usability  

• Configure infrastructure and deployment processes using Terraform and CI/CD  

• Collaborate with a cross-functional product team of Software Engineers, Salesforce experts, and other CRM experts   

Requirements

Your Profile 

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification  

• Several years of professional experience in backend and API development with Node.js and TypeScript  

• Professional experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, and containerized applications on AWS ECS  

• Hands-on experience with tools like Terraform, CI/CD, as well as NoSQL and SQL databases  

• Nice to have: experience with Zuora, Salesforce, React, or Next.js  

• Solution-oriented, collaborative and communicative hands-on personality with strong organizational skills, paired with a structured approach to work 

• Business fluent English skills
