Biotechnology is rewriting life as we know it, from the medicines we take, to the crops we grow, the materials we wear, and the household goods that we rely on every day. But moving at the new speed of science requires better technology.
Benchling’s mission is to unlock the power of biotechnology. The world’s most innovative biotech companies use Benchling’s R&D Cloud to power the development of breakthrough products and accelerate time to milestone and market.
Come help us bring modern software to modern science.
Benchling is on a mission to accelerate the pace of life sciences research and development. To do that, we build a suite of tools that scientists use daily to tackle humanity's most pressing problems. The tools we build must be optimized to make scientists more efficient in their work, across a broad spectrum of research, development, and manufacturing tasks. Our platform offers life sciences and pharmaceutical researchers a collection of tools that speak to the general workflow of the research and development process, with an emphasis on configurability to meet individual needs and a limited amount of domain-specific assumptions or know-how built in. To meet accelerating trends in specific pharmaceutical drug R&D approaches like antibody discovery & optimization and medicinal chemistry, Benchling has recently shifted focus to producing integrated subdomain-specific solutions for scientific organizations. Our goal is to provide best-in-class tools for pharma R&D across all scientific modalities.
Benchling is seeking an experienced software engineer who has a demonstrated multi-year track record of delivery in enterprise SaaS application development. You will work across a variety of software applications with a concentration area in scientific computing, helping to launch new applications for antibody engineering, small-molecule chemistry, and more. In addition, you will act as a force multiplier for the Applications pillar and help drive engineering excellence across the organization.
