Software Engineer (2026 Graduate Program)

We are looking for a committed and competent Fresh Graduates who will join our growing team and can work with an international team operating from Manila and Switzerland. You will work closely with technology vendors, infrastructure providers and the software development division to provide world class services. You will continuously work on technical and process improvements, keeping both incremental and disruptive options in mind.  

The program was designed to provide exposure to various aspects of the business and industry.  An exciting learning curriculum focused on business solutions, leadership skills to provide a solid foundation for future. 

• Develop and implement new features based on internal and external requirements 
• Understand the Avaloq Core Banking Platform and the corresponding business areas 
• Design, develop and maintain thought-out solutions within the team’s responsibility 
• Improve and optimize existing functionalities. 
• Develop and maintain automated tests 
• Take ownership and responsibility for your area of expertise  
• Maintenance and Innovation of software modules 

• Must be a fresh graduate with a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, or similar disciplines.
• Experience in one or more high level programming language is a plus 
• Good knowledge and sound understanding of database technologies (SQL, Oracle PL/SQL) 
• Agile mindset and thirst for knowledge, willingness to unlearn and relearn. 
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle. 
• The desire to work in fast-paced environment. 
• Must understand concepts of software engineering. 
• Good communication skills, should be comfortably working and collaborating with diverse culture and at all levels 
• Openness to new learnings, must be willing to undergo trainings to become Avaloq Certified Customization Professional (ACCP) 
• It would be a real bonus if you have a leadership background in school activities, or have led a project, thesis, or internship.
