About the Role:

As the Software DevOps Engineer reporting to the Director of the Software Delivery team, you will be a key member of the Software team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that support DCS’s Warehouse Execution System (WES) Software. Automation and repeatability are at the center of everything you do. DCS will appreciate your reliability, your creativity, your problem-solving approach, and your thirst for learning. In this role, you will:

  • Work with clients and suppliers to implement DCS software solutions in client distribution centers.
  • Own deployment of infrastructure (cloud and on-prem) to support DCS’s WES software and subsystems.
  • Help develop and maintenance best practice standards for DevOps functions.
  • Work closely with Software development team and customer support team to address and remediate issues within the DevOps environment.
  • Support a culture of technical innovation and continuous learning in the latest technologies, industry news and trends.
  • Represent the Software department with the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Travel domestically to client sites when needed. Anticipated level of travel is up to 15%.

  • You have expertise in implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or alike.
  • You have expertise with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP).
  • You have expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting/monitoring Kubernetes.
  • You have experience administrating Linux environments.
  • You have experience with server, storage, and networking hardware.
  • You have experience with network and security concepts
  • You have experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management.
  • You have experience with script in languages such as Python, Bash, or alike.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • You are an enabler and enhancer of our company culture.
  • You have excellent communication skills and you’re able to work well with clients, management, and multidiscipline teams.
  • You’re a self-motivated performer who can execute with minimum supervision and guidance.
  • You’re a creative problem-solver who can manage multiple complex tasks and projects at a time.
  • You are proficient in MS Office products, and software project management suites such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
