Toshiba is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager who will be responsible for leading a department of direct reports that will include 5-12 software developers. Responsibilities will include guiding and supporting the team throughout the development and successful deployment of new product releases, optimizing development processes and team efficiencies, challenging the team technically and participating in scrum and code reviews, managing capacity and personnel matters.
This position requires proven knowledge of software development processes, previous software development (writing code preferably in C, C++ or Java) experience is a plus, extensive people management experience and the skills listed below necessary to carry out the responsibilities for project activities across a broad, cross functional, geographically diverse team.
