About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Engineer with strong front-end expertise and solid backend experience using Nest.js and MongoDB. The ideal candidate is exceptional in UI development while also having deep knowledge of backend architecture, API design, and performance optimization for high-traffic applications. You will work across the stack—building high-quality user interfaces, developing scalable backend services, and driving performance improvements end-to-end. This role also includes technical leadership, mentoring teammates, and contributing to engineering best practices. Key Responsibilities Frontend Engineering (Vue.js or similar)
  • Build performant, scalable, and reusable UI components.
  • Identify and fix performance bottlenecks (rendering, bundle size, API usage, caching).
  • Improve page load speed, responsiveness, and UX performance.
  • Maintain a clean and modular front-end codebase using modern TypeScript practices.
  • Backend Engineering (Nest.js + Node.js)
  • Design and build scalable, maintainable APIs using Nest.js.
  • Work with MongoDB for schema design, indexing, aggregation pipelines, and query performance.
  • Implement secure authentication, authorization, and API best practices.
  • Optimize backend services for high throughput, low latency, and reliability.
  • Integrate microservices, message queues, or event-driven components (if required).
  • Architecture & Engineering Leadership
  • Take ownership of medium-to-large features and deliver them end-to-end.
  • Lead performance-driven engineering improvements across the stack.
  • Evaluate and integrate open-source tools, libraries, and frameworks.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers on frontend, backend, and system performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Platform, and QA teams.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring high quality and performance standards.
  • Qualifications and Skills
  • 5+ years of professional full-stack or front-end-focused engineering experience.
  • Strong frontend experience (Vue.js is preferred; React experience is a plus).
  • Deep experience with Nest.js (or equivalent Node.js frameworks).
  • Strong understanding of MongoDB, schema modeling, indexing & query optimization.
  • Proven track record of improving performance in both frontend and backend codebases.
  • Solid understanding of browser behavior, rendering, caching, and web performance metrics.
  • Experience owning complex features and driving technical decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Nice to Have
  • Experience with: Webpack, Vite, or other build tools; TypeScript advanced patterns; Redis, message queues, background jobs; CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions; Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, Vercel)
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
  • Experience mentoring or leading a small team.
