Your Role:

As a Backend Developer at Drip Capital, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, building, deploying, and maintaining microservices that provide time-sensitive capital to customers worldwide.

• Collaborating closely with product managers to understand customer requirements and define technical solutions.

• Developing risk modules to adapt to individual and market variations.

• Creating and enhancing workflow automation, 

• Debugging issues across services and multiple levels of the technology stack.

Our Checklist:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in building low-latency, distributed systems that are scalable and reliable.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Ruby, Golang, Java, C/C++, or Python.

• Experience with at least one MVC framework used for backend development, such as Ruby on Rails, Spring, CodeIgniter, etc.

• Solid understanding of software architecture fundamentals, including object-oriented design, abstractions, and system design.

• Passion for building well-engineered, reusable backend components with high-quality code.

• Basic knowledge of test-driven software development.

• Good to have prior experience with ruby on rails

• Understanding of low-level and high-level design principles.
