As a Software Developer Team Lead at Precoa, you’ll partner closely with business stakeholders and fellow developers to build meaningful tools that transform how we serve our teams and our partner funeral homes. You’ll be in the code every day—designing systems, solving real-world business challenges, and championing strong engineering practices across the team.

As we grow, you'll help guide others along with you—mentoring developers, reviewing code, collaborating on architecture, and setting a high bar for quality, reliability, and craftsmanship.

• Build and enhance full-stack web apps that streamline processes and unlock real business value
• Design, consume, and optimize APIs to power smooth, efficient data flows
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code—and help others do the same
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate complex needs into intuitive solutions
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, performance, and developer experience
• Mentor and support fellow developers, elevating craftsmanship and team excellence
• Participate in code reviews, advocate for best practices, and contribute to architectural decisions

Skills you may have to make you a success!

• 4+ years full-stack software development experience
• Strong PHP experience (Laravel preferred) and proficiency with relational databases (MySQL/MSSQL)
• Vue.js (or similar) experience—React welcome too
• Solid foundations in HTML5, CSS (Tailwind preferred), and modern RESTful architecture
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions with clarity and empathy
• Curious, collaborative mindset with a deep sense of ownership
