About the Role
We are seeking a Software Developer Unicorn to join the team full-time (9am–5pm EST, Monday–Friday). This role is centered on Ruby on Rails expertise and API development. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable APIs and building reliable systems with Rails as the core framework.

Core Responsibilities
- Lead development with Ruby on Rails, ensuring high performance and maintainability.
- Design, build, and optimize APIs that power applications and integrations.
- Partner with the team to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Write clean, secure, and testable code aligned with best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in Ruby on Rails (core framework).
- Strong experience in API development (design + implementation).
- Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL experience a plus).
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and scalable architecture.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
