What We're Looking For
We are seeking a motivated Software Developer with 2–4 years of professional experience to help design, build, and maintain scalable software solutions that support business operations, automation, analytics, and customer-facing applications.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on development, solving real-world problems, and collaborating across technical and non-technical teams to deliver reliable, well-documented solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and services in production environments
- Contribute to integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms (e.g., CRMs, APIs, collaboration tools)
- Build and enhance automation tools to improve workflows, data processing, reporting, and operational efficiency
- Support and improve existing applications by troubleshooting issues, fixing defects, and enhancing performance
- Assist in developing dashboards, monitoring tools, and reporting solutions to provide system visibility
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation and development best practices
- Continuously learn and apply improvements related to system reliability, scalability, and security
Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain a security clearance, if required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 2–4 years of professional experience in software development or engineering roles
- Proficiency in modern programming language(s) (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript)
- Experience working with APIs and contributing to system integrations
- Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and basic data modeling concepts
- Experience supporting or enhancing production applications
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint (development, customization, integrations, or automation)
- Experience building automation tools, internal applications, or reporting solutions
- Exposure to cloud-based environments or SaaS platforms
- Familiarity with modern development frameworks, version control, testing practices, and CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to analytics dashboards, monitoring tools, or data-driven applications
Location:
- This is an in-person position based in Millersville, MD. Candidates should be local to the area or willing to commute.
Compensation:
- The anticipated salary range for this role is $85,000 – $115,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and overall alignment with the role.
