What you’ll do (and why you’ll love doing it)

At Precoa, you’ll help create the tools that support families during life’s hardest moments. From the agent-facing systems that power meaningful conversations to the web platforms that keep our nationwide network running smoothly, you’ll:
 

• Build and enhance the core applications our teams rely on every day– tools that help real people support families every single day.
   
• Write clean, thoughtful code in collaboration with senior developers, contributing to new features and debugging efforts to keep our systems resilient.
   
• Bring your front-end expertise to elevate the user experience across our products, on a team that is currently rich in back-end talent.
   
• Shape the future of our product ecosystem, contributing to our broader software roadmap and improving workflows across marketing, operations and field teams.

Skills you may have to make you a success!

• This is a hybrid role, preference for candidates living in the Portland Metro area
• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering required 

• Two years or more experience in modern web development
• Strength in front-end frameworks: Vue, React, or Angular preferred
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, SQL.
• Working knowledge of PHP/Laravel is a bonus!
• Empathy, interpersonal awareness, and a natural ability to create harmony in a team setting — not just code, but connection
