Our Ideal Candidate:(all levels - junior, standard and senior)

• Develops and enhances software solutions, working collaboratively with business partners
• Provides expertise in analysis of technical system problems; designs and implements effective solutions
• Contributes to the development of project plans
• Assists in training less experienced team members
• Works with business analysts and other team members to create technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements
• Contributes to efforts to improve quality of applications
• Participates in code and design reviews
• Assists in the Troubleshooting of code defects and deploy timely fixes
• Creates and maintains technical documentation
• Addresses customer issues with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements

Additional Responsibilities (for senior level dev roles):

• Assigns and monitors tasks of lower level Software Developers as responsibilities and experience grows
• Provides coaching to other members of the team
• Defines needs, helps select and implement new tools and technologies for use within the team
• Contribute to the continuing technical education of the team
• Act as team leader as needed

Technologies Used (please have experience with two or more items below):

• C#
• ASP.NET
• VB.NET
• Oracle/PLSQL
• SharePoint/BizTalk (desired)

Additional desired skills and experience:

• Software concepts
• Strong communication skills
• Agile and waterfall project team participation
• Insurance experience is helpful and desirable

For senior roles:

• development leadership, coaching, mentoring and training experience
• Development Concepts, Design Patterns, and Relational Database Management System concepts
• Familiar with Systems Testing concepts and quality management
• Agile and waterfall processes, practices and deliverables
