What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile, web, and server-side applications using modern languages and frameworks.
- Translate product requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures.
- Write clean, well-documented, and unit-tested code
- Lead or contribute to rigorous code reviews.
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications.
- Guide technical discussions, influence engineering standards, and mentor peers as appropriate for your level.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience delivering production software.
- Proficiency in at least one modern language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#).
- Expertise with front-end frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular
- Expertise on back-end frameworks like NestJS, Express, FastAPI, Django, or .NET
- Solid grasp of algorithms, data structures, and software-design principles.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Passion for modern engineering practices—CI/CD, automated testing, and iterative delivery.
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Comfortable collaborating within distributed, multidisciplinary teams.
- Proactive, collaborative mindset.
Nice to have
- Cloud experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Containerization and orchestration know-how (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience designing and tuning scalable, distributed systems.
- Leadership in technical initiatives, estimations, or mentoring other engineers.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi), observability tooling (Datadog, New Relic).
- DevSecOps best practices knowledge.
