What you will do

We are building our new cloud-based flagship ERP platform for manufacturing businesses, and we’re looking for a mid-level software developer who is comfortable working in an AI-first development model.

This role is not about experimenting with AI on the side. AI-assisted development is central to how we design, build, test, and evolve the product. You’ll be expected to actively use tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent to accelerate delivery while maintaining high engineering standards.

Core Technical Skills (Required)

  • Strong commercial experience with Microsoft .NET (C#)

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Blazor (Server and/or WASM)

  • Microsoft SQL Server or Postgres SQL – schema design, indexing, query optimisation

  • Docker – containerise development and deployment

  • Github-based source control workflows

  • Experience building and maintaining cloud-hosted applications

AI-First Development (Required)

We are specifically looking for someone who:

  • Actively uses AI coding tools such as:

    • Claude Code

    • GitHub Copilot

    • Chat-based LLM tooling for development

  • Is comfortable with:

    • Generating, reviewing, and refining code with AI assistance

    • Using AI for refactoring, test generation, and documentation

    • Treating AI as a productivity multiplier, not a crutch

  • Understands the limits and risks of AI-generated code and can apply engineering judgement

  • Is enthusiastic about evolving their workflow as AI tooling improves

Additional Technical Skills (Advantageous)

  • PostgreSQL experience

  • Entity Framework or similar ORM tools

  • RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures

  • Azure or AWS

Manufacturing Domain Experience (Highly Desirable)

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing ERP / MRP systems

  • Experience with:

    • Bills of Materials (BOMs)

    • Routings and operations

    • Work orders and production planning

    • Inventory and capacity planning

  • Ability to design software that reflects real manufacturing constraints

  • Building core functionality for the launch of our cloud-native ERP platform

  • Developing new features using .NET, Blazor, and modern cloud tooling

  • Applying AI-assisted development to improve speed and quality

  • Improving performance, scalability, and maintainability

  • Contributing to architectural and technical decisions

  • Helping establish development standards for an AI-first team

  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain environments

  • Exposure to multi-tenant SaaS architectures

  • Familiarity with security, permissions, and role-based access models
