We are looking for a Software & Data Engineer to generate new business intelligence applications inside Palantir’s Foundry platform. You'll be working with a Product Owner and other Software & Data Engineers to design, implement, deploy and maintain applications inside Palantir Foundry.

Your work will have a larger impact beyond implementing tools and processes. Your work will directly shape how Ursa Major continues its growth as a propulsion manufacturing company that is enabling the future of both defense and commercial aerospace. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and other Software & Data Engineers on our internal Palantir Foundry development team, as well as stakeholders and users to design intuitive interfaces and dashboards.
  • Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines and workflows within Palantir Foundry.
  • Develop Ontology objects to manage and reason over data within Palantir Foundry.
  • Design and document data logic, lineage, and tooling for discoverability and maintainability.
  • Configure and maintain data integrations from various source systems into Foundry.
  • Identify and execute on opportunities for system optimization and automation.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and documentation for Foundry users.
  • Work collaboratively within agile-inspired development methodologies. 

 

Required Qualifications 

  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • 1-5 years of professional software development experience
  • 1+ years of data engineering experience
  • Hands-on, professional experience with Palantir Foundry 

 

Desired Experience 

  •  Experience working with manufacturing, industrial systems, or IoT data

 

Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $90,000 - $115,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
