We are seeking a skilled Software Architect to join our team. This role is crucial in architecting new solutions for our software with design concepts and documentation backed by software standards and high quality. The Lextegrity products processes millions of transactions, providing risk scores and insights that help compliance users prioritize reviews and proactively avoid risks like fraud, corruption, and bribery.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Structure Requirements: Gather and document non-functional and architectural requirements for new solutions and major functional changes.
  • Design Solutions: Design and document solutions. Participate in design discussion with the architecture, devops, development and product teams. Recommend industry standard design patterns and select third party technologies.
  • Software Development: Writing code, automated tests and directly implementing solutions for core APIs, services or modules to be used by a larger development team.
  • Risk Assessment: Advise development teams on performance, quality and technical security risks with propose solutions.
  • Code Review: Review pull requests from other architects, devops staff and developers. Enforce code quality standards and industry standards. Collaborate with developers to produce high quality and consistent implementations.
  • Maintain a high standard of security awareness, ensuring data protection, compliance with company policies, and adherence to industry standards in all aspects of work.



What We're Looking For:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years in a Software Architect, Senior Developer or a similar role.
  • Architecture Design Experience: Strong experience designing and delivering web application and SaaS solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong experience with AWS services, micro services, Node.js and Lambda. Solid familiarity with containerization technologies, specifically Docker.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Experience with AWS infrastructure as code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform, cdk) for managing cloud resources.
  • Security Practices: Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in cloud environments.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, capable of working well within a team and engaging with stakeholders across the organization.
