Social Media Specialist (ID) 

As a Social Media Specialist, you’ll support our client’s social and social commerce strategy,, connecting products and services to users through relevant, conversion-focused touchpoints. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, affiliates, and external agencies to support Brand initiatives, with a strong focus on TikTok execution, lower-funnel activities, affiliate coordination, and driving sales through high-quality social content.

With your finger on the pulse of internet culture and emerging TikTok trends, you’ll turn insights into effective executions that drive engagement, sales, and operational efficiency. Working closely with country social leads, brand teams, PR managers, and affiliate partners, you’ll build advocacy and brand love while leveraging data from social listening, content performance, and sales metrics to inform always-on content, KOL management, influencer-led commerce activations, and affiliate-led initiatives.

Role:

  • Manage key opinion leaders (KOLs), creators, and affiliate partners across all brands, including comprehensive briefing, drafting content calendars, and deploying essential toolkits from brand teams to ensure seamless collaboration and execution.
  • Track and analyse social content performance on platforms like TikTok, identifying emerging trends and lower-funnel sales opportunities. Collaborate closely with the media team to amplify successful assets, optimise content reach, and improve affiliate-driven conversions.
  • Work closely with Market PR teams to plan and execute high-impact PR events that generate significant buzz and talkability, extending brand narratives into wider public conversations.
  • Oversee the management of social media pages, ensuring the strategic deployment of branded content that is fully aligned with overarching marketing objectives, brand guidelines, and operational requirements.
  • Provide social commerce expertise, curating content that drives TikTok engagement, direct sales, and affiliate-led campaigns.
  • Analyse data into insights whilst building a narrative that will fuel social media campaigns and programmes as part of the broader country-specific marketing initiatives, particularly emphasising TikTok and other key social platform performance.
  • Identify and escalate areas of concern and opportunities for the brand and pitch fresh, innovative ideas to drive engagement, community growth, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on social strategy and execution to capture the brand’s presence, coordinate with affiliates, and ensure smooth end-to-end delivery.
  • Manage analytics, track audience growth, and generate campaign-specific metrics, focusing on content performance, audience engagement, and affiliate impact.
  • Help build and manage strong relationships with influencers, micro-creators, and affiliates throughout various verticals to increase authentic advocacy and brand love, and facilitate content creation where appropriate.
  • Collect and share insights and trends from social communities to improve future campaigns and affiliate-led initiatives.

You:

  • A degree in business, commerce, or marketing is preferred, or equivalent industry experience is required.
  • 5+ years in marketing, advertising, or related industry, with hands-on social commerce experience.
  • Experience with TikTok campaign execution, lower-funnel optimisation, working with agencies, and affiliate/operations coordination.
  • You’ve ideally held a Social Media Coordinator or similar role in the past, whilst working with external creative and social agencies.
  • A strategic and creative thinker who can navigate around an always-on social landscape, with a proven ability to curate and develop trend-leading content.
  • Prior experience supporting end-to-end social media projects from strategy to execution, including localised content creation and copywriting, community management, localised, tracking and reporting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of social platforms, paid media, content strategy and community management, with specific expertise in TikTok and Meta performance.
  • Experience with social media publishing tools like Sprinklr, Hootsuite or Sprout Social.
  • Ability to bring order and attention to detail to complex stages of each project.
  • Prior experience with communicating with local and geographically dispersed stakeholders to deliver clear instructions and messaging.
  • Passionate about working as part of a larger team to deliver on a common goal, with a keen eye for emerging social trends and content opportunities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills to support projects across APAC.
