Social Media Specialist supports the planning, execution, and monitoring of social media activities across multiple platforms. This role focuses on day-to-day execution, coordination, and reporting, working closely with senior team members to ensure content is published accurately, on time, and aligned with approved strategies and brand guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand brand goals, target audiences, and campaign objectives, and translate these into clear, executable content plans.
- Plan, review, and execute social media content, ensuring all posts align with brand voice, visual guidelines, and approved messaging.
- Own content scheduling and publishing across social media platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to timelines.
- Perform hands-on execution including post setup, formatting, hashtag use, link tracking, and basic community monitoring.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance, prepare client-ready summaries, and explain results in a clear, actionable way.
- Provide data-backed recommendations to improve reach, engagement, and content effectiveness, and implement approved optimizations.
- Stay current on platform updates, trends, and best practices, and apply relevant updates to ongoing execution.
- Support email marketing tasks as needed
- Minimum one year of professional experience in content creation and curation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of major social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Twitter, including platform algorithms, content performance factors, and feature functionality.
- Demonstrated proficiency with social media analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, or Hootsuite, with the ability to analyze data, identify performance patterns, and develop data-driven strategies.
- Proven ability to identify emerging trends and adapt quickly to platform updates and new feature releases.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously is preferred.
- Advanced written and verbal English communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to serve as a professional representative for clients and maintain strong client relationships.
- Availability to work onsite in Cebu City, Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling options (7:00 AM–4:00 PM, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM).
