ETHGlobal is the largest developer community in crypto. As the usage of blockchain technology grows, the world is going to need more talented engineers, designers, and product leaders to build the future that blockchain technology is promising. We work with exactly these kinds of people every single day through the products we organize for our community. By focusing on this community, we think we can accelerate the transition to a crypto-native digital economy.
Historically, ETHGlobal has been about running hackathons around the world (we've run a hackathon in every continent except Antartica!), and we've been very successful at that. Hundreds of people have found jobs from our events, won millions in prizes, and some have even started businesses worth tens to hundreds of millions of dollars. Today, however, we see a path to be something much larger.
ETHGlobal is about empowering our community to do great things. We're a collection of crypto native engineers, community leaders, event organizers, and investors. Together, we will build the best community platform for technical talent in the entire crypto industry.
ETHGlobal was early in supporting the crypto community and have been doing so since 2017. We're a small team of 14, and we’re looking for experienced partnerships managers in the cryptocurrency space who are invigorated by the opportunity to have a major impact on how developers learn and grow in this industry. You must be comfortable dealing with lots of moving pieces; you should have exquisite attention to detail and be comfortable learning new technologies and systems.
You will
Own ETHGlobal's social presence across X, Farcaster, LinkedIn, Discord, Instagram, and other platforms—writing, scheduling, and publishing content that informs and entertains our global community
Stay deeply plugged into crypto Twitter and broader industry trends, identifying opportunities for timely, relevant content
Collaborate with the team to promote our events and products, including hackathons, Pragma conferences, ETHConf, and Packs
Provide live coverage during hackathons and Pragma events, working with photo and video teams to pull and share relevant content in real-time
Track performance across platforms, monitor X ads performance, and use data to refine what's working
Help coordinate community moments like Twitter Spaces and Discord calls
You may be a fit for this role if
You write well and quickly. You can shift between polished announcements and casual memes without losing ETHGlobal's voice.
You're chronically online. You know what's happening in crypto before it trends and have good instincts for when to join a conversation.
You have an ownership mentality. When you take on a task, you get it done. You proactively troubleshoot problems blocking your path.
You're organized and reliable. Social management requires consistency—you show up every day and nothing slips through the cracks.
You're interested in
A full-time position
A fully remote work environment (preference for candidates based in North America)
Occasionally travelling to international locations for physical weekend hackathons (e.g., Tokyo, New York City, Mumbai, or other major cities across the world)
You would excel in this role if you
Have 1-3 years experience managing social media or community for a company, ideally in crypto or tech
Have a passion and intrinsic interest in crypto and technology
Are familiar with developer communities and understand what motivates builders
Have a portfolio or examples of social content you've created
Perks
Flexible vacation and remote work policy
Stipends for home office improvements, meals and additional remote-work benefits
Competitive salary (option to be paid in cryptocurrency)
