Role Overview

The Social Media Manager & Content Creator owns the brand’s social presence end-to-end, with a strong emphasis on hands-on content creation and performance-driven growth across TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.

This role exists to build brand visibility, increase engagement, and translate social traction into measurable business outcomes. You will combine strategic marketing thinking with day-to-day execution — especially short-form video content (Reels/TikTok), static creatives, and trend-based campaigns.

The role is highly execution-focused and suited for someone who understands social algorithms, viral dynamics, and content experimentation. You will collaborate cross-functionally with editors, designers, UGC creators, and paid media partners while remaining comfortable producing content independently when needed.

Core Responsibilities

Hands-On Content Creation – 35%

  • Create short-form video content (TikTok and Instagram Reels) from concept through publishing.
  • Produce static posts, carousels, promotional creatives, and trend-based content.
  • Write high-converting captions, hooks, and CTAs.
  • Experiment with storytelling formats and posting cadence.
  • Rapidly adapt trends while maintaining brand voice and positioning.

Social Strategy & Performance Ownership – 25%

  • Develop platform-specific social media strategies aligned with marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Monitor platform trends, algorithm updates, and cultural moments.
  • Track KPIs including reach, engagement, follower growth, CTR, and conversions.
  • Analyze performance data and iterate content strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct competitive research to maintain brand relevance.

Content Coordination & Publishing – 20%

  • Coordinate with video editors, UGC creators, designers, and paid media teams.
  • Manage content calendars, approvals, asset organization, and scheduling.
  • Ensure consistent publishing cadence across all platforms.
  • Optimize posts using hashtags, keywords, tagging, and platform best practices.

Community Engagement & Brand Building – 20%

  • Manage comments, DMs, and mentions to foster an engaged community.
  • Identify influencer collaborations and user-generated content opportunities.
  • Monitor audience sentiment and surface insights to marketing leadership.
  • Strengthen brand trust through consistent storytelling and interaction.

Requirements

Must-Haves (Required)

  • 2+ years of hands-on social media content creation experience, particularly short-form video (TikTok/Reels).
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end social publishing and engagement.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram trends, algorithms, and viral content dynamics.
  • Ability to track performance metrics and optimize content using data insights.
  • Background in marketing strategy, brand storytelling, or growth marketing.
  • Comfortable both strategizing and independently creating content.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, KPI-driven remote environment.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
