Role: Social Media Manager, APAC Ads Marketing

Location: Bangalore, India

Work Timings: 7:00am to 4:00pm  

 

About the role: 

The candidate’s core function is to support the day to day running of an always on Paid Media program for SMB Same Store Growth / Think with Google. As the Social Media Manager for APAC Ads Marketing, you will serve as a strategic Audience Growth Program Manager. You will work closely with our Paid Media lead to drive  the regional content and distribution strategy, providing the market context and actionable insights necessary to scale our presence. You will bridge the gap between creative content and performance-driven distribution, ensuring all social initiatives drive education, engagement, and product adoption across the diverse APAC landscape. This includes development of media plans, campaign best practices, reporting insights and analysis.

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Strategic Growth: Develop and lead the APAC social content and distribution roadmap, aligning high-impact initiatives with regional growth principles.
  • Program Leadership: Act as the central hub for content sponsors and cross-functional teams to define scope, deliverables, and resource allocation for major social workstreams.
  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with internal marketing teams and external vendors to identify requirements, mitigate project risks, and capture cross-departmental opportunities.
  • Performance Analytics: Rigorously analyze and maintain program health. Translate complex performance data into high-level reports and actionable business intelligence for management.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Manage project budgets with precision, maintaining full accountability for delivering measurable ROI against established business objectives.
  • Market Intelligence: Maintain a deep, proactive understanding of the APAC digital landscape to execute innovative initiatives that stay ahead of platform trends.

 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • Experience: 5+ years of marketing experience with a proven track record in Social Media, Growth, or Product Marketing.
  • Project Mastery: Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional, or cross-team projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • APAC Expertise: Strong understanding of the APAC digital ecosystem, including platform nuances and regional user behaviors.
  • Analytical Rigor: Ability to dig into detailed program metrics while maintaining a "big-picture" strategic view.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and influence senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies 
  • Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
